Extended Term Erosion Control Blankets
Extended Term ECBs will last between 15 and 24 months as an erosion control solution. Like the Short-Term ECBs, Extended Term ECBs are offered in both single and double net construction and are composed of natural materials with synthetic netting with some varieties offering a biodegradable aspect. Extended Term ECBs are also offered in a coconut fiber construction for use in channel applications.
To suit varying project needs such as longevity, soil type and climate conditions, NAG offers different erosion control blanket configurations.
American Excelsior Curlex II is an organic blanket that facilitates growth and provides seed and topsoil protection. Eighty percent of the fibers in Curlex II are six inches or greater in length and are consistent in thickness.
