Short Term Erosion Control Blankets
Temporary Erosion Control Blankets keep soil from wearing down and running in to our waterways. Short-term ECBs will last approximately 12 months and are manufactured in both single and double net varieties. These ECBs are made of natural materials with synthetic netting, with some biodegradable versions offered as well.
American Excelsior Curlex provides ideal conditions for grass growth while preventing wind and water erosion. When wet, the blankets also have a built-in swell factor to expand the fibers and create a stronger matrix. Curlex CL offers a lighter weight, less expensive option that will facilitate vegetation growth.
North American Green erosion control blankets are constructed with 100% agricultural straw with a photodegradable polypropylene netting. To suit project needs, the different models offer varying functional longevities. The S150 and S75 blankets have a functional longevity up to 12 months, while DS150 offers 2 months and DS75 offers 45 days.
