Unilock's Classic pavers follow the same manufacturing process as the first pavers made. These pavers, also known as thru-mix pavers, are an even mix of small and large aggregates, color and cement evenly distributed throughout the stone, from bottom to top. Classic pavers exceed all ASTM standards for quality and strength and are available in a variety of shapes and colors to satisfy different aesthetic tastes.
Classic pavers are strong, but over time, with wear and tear from daily use, their color may appear to fade. The pigment doesn't really fade, you just see less of it on the surface from gradual wear on the paver's surface. For this reason, Classic pavers benefit from sealing to protect the paver and lock in color. A low-maintenance alternative to Classic pavers is Unilock's EnduraColor Pavers which don't require sealing to maintain their long-lasting, rich color.
